Belle Curve Stories
Belle Curve Stories is a digital publication sharing stories of women age 45 and older who are using their decades of experience and expertise to find new meaning and purpose. The founders wanted their brand to express hopefulness, striving, and strength, as well as femininity. We have created a full identity system to be used not only in the publication itself, which is currently distributed via Substack, but also on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. While currently an online brand, the client foresees an expansion into lifestyle and physical products. This system was created with that growth in mind. The logo elements include horizontal and stacked versions of a wordmark as well as a female figure with her arms outstretched. The identity system, which was documented in a comprehensive manual, includes specifications for typography in the newsletter and on the website, a comprehensive color palette for print and digital applications, photography guidelines, and brand voice guidelines. We also supplied treatments for social media as part of the initial package.
